Laser
welding is a valuable and important part of the metalworks
industry, producing welds for common items such as motor
and transformer lamination, hermetic seals, battery cans,
hybrid circuit packages, senser fabrication, semiconductor
applications, jewelry manufacturing/repair, watch springs
and dial pins, prototyping, molds, dies, tools, scientific
instruments and tubing, etc.
Our
new micro laser welder is designed for a wide range of
fabrication and reconstruction repairs.
Our
laser welder features an LCD Shutter.(Rapid
firing speed and smoother weld surface), Leica
microscope, Leica magnifier with 16x-40x, 25° wedge
for agronomic design and comfort, 5.5 gallon cooling system,
Automated Pulse Modulations enable pulse shape adjustment
during each pulse, 100 memory programs, 2 side openings,
2 front openings and front door for easy access when welding
long and large parts, and inert gas.
Our
laser welder offers distinct advantages over TIG welders,
like superior weld quality, excellent for precise applications,
low heat input, no distortion or discoloration to the
surrounding weld base metals, almost undetectable weld
after refinishing, no preheating is required, minimal
restoration time, hard and strong weld is attributed to
rapid solidification.
Laser
welding could be used in place of many different standard
processes, such as resistance (spot or seam), submerged
arc, RF induction, high-frequency resistance, ultrasonic
and electron-beam. The versatile laser welding approach
will operate efficiently and economically in many different
applications.
Welding
results when materials are heated to a molten state and
fused together. Lasers generate light energy that can
be absorbed into materials and converted to heat energy.
By employing a beam of light in the visible or infrared
portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, we can transmit
this energy to the material using delivery optics which
can focus and direct the energy to a very small, precise
point.
